“We wanted to have a bar outside that was easy to use and set up and a little more permanent,” says operations manager Tyler Gostinger. “We wanted something that was different. It just looks much cleaner than the other outdoor bar options out there.”

This 10x20 shipping container for Petoskey Brewing Company was modified to include a half wall awning on two sides, and a flat screen television mount next to a dimensional logo on the back wall. The entire container was sandblasted and painted to match the powder blue color in their logo. This container will be capable of serving over a dozen varieties of ale at their new outdoor beer garden. By thinking “inside” the box, you can turn these shelters and shipping units into beautiful activations such as pop-up shops, events, restaurants, cafes, offices, and concession stands.

"Since we’re in an area where everyone wants to be outside in the summer, having a second open-air bar has really benefited our business." says operations manager Tyler Gostinger. "And, the ease of use contributes to the revenue we make. Instead of having customers walk all the way inside to get a drink, they just order it there. It’s incredible."
