After heavy preparation, L'Oréal was ready to unveil their latest breakthrough to the public. A regular campaign wouldn't cut it; L'Oréal was preparing an immersive experience where influencers, stylists, and potential customers would convene at SXSW Austin to test out the spotlit AirLight Pro. Advertised as a game changer for the hair care industry, L'Oréal's new hair drying tool needed a setup that would match the hype of the reveal. So, by partnering with Gradient Experience, the effort began to search for a team that could pull it off.
It wasn't long before Gradient Experience determined that BoxPop® was best fit for the job. The itinerary would be a breeze for our dedicated teams here on campus, where everything down to the last board is worked on by our local teams of designers, printers, woodworkers, metalworkers, and more to assure the highest quality comes at the fastest pace.
The complete setup was built out of a BoxPop® 20', with custom metal, electrical, and print elements to round out the space. The container itself was built to showcase the AirLight Pro up close, while a rooftop deck was also provided to allow hired stylists perform complimentary blowouts to any interested visitor.
The initiative was a massive success, drawing in crowds eager to get the first look at L'Oréal's freshest release. Fans and influencers were able to see the AirLight Pro inside and out, and then take part in the full experience with the stylists atop the roof deck. In all, the activation achieved every aspect of L'Oréal's vision, launching the product in a sleek and professional fashion.
